Shredded Science

Shredded Science is an independent science education and outreach music and film project aimed at teaching some of the most mathematically challenging areas of science in a fun and engaging atmosphere. We use a unique combination of memorable song parodies, animation, and demonstrations to illustrate the concepts. Our first set of 4 videos covers the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd laws of thermodynamics using a song parody music video (set to the tune of a popular song by Queen) as well as 3 additional videos that feature demonstrations and explanations of each of the 3 laws. We plan to make many more videos of this nature in the future, and are currently pursuing the funding to make that possible, so please share Shredded Science with all who may be interested.

Chemists Know

"Chemists Know" is a science education and outreach song parody that I wrote and performed to the tune of "Let it Go" from Disney's Frozen soundtrack. The music video was the first collaboration between myself and film producer, Shaunt Kouyoumdjian, ultimately inspiring us to create Shredded Science!

My Personal YouTube Channel

My personal YouTube channel is mostly devoted to offering publicly available teaching materials that I create for the classes I teach as well as resources for my research students, but I also sometimes create outreach content, like this video that teaches the chemistry behind tie-dye.
